Picked up this Richter Lure about 12 or 13 years ago to drag behind the boat on my regular coastal survey trips around the north-Australian coastline at the time.
At 13 1/2 inches overall it was a bit big for the intended purpose however, so in the end I never rigged it.

Today its a nice addition to the collection!

Richter Lures are South African made and the company is still going strong:- from their web-catalogue this specimen looks like a fore-runner of the "Haka L".

Nice lure which should be wet.....

hot to trot on a long corner or outrigger

The Ritcher range includes the "Soft Grassy" which in pink has accounted for more sailfish and small blacks over here in the west in the last 18 months than any other lure.

I think we can call them a aussie lure as the owner lives in Perth

Aussie it is, then!

Thanks for the info, TT.

I checked out the Soft Grassy on their web-page, might have to get me a pink one of those. ...or two!
We have a couple of sailfish grounds off Darwin (North Gutter, Sail City, and Fogg Bay Wide) but to fish them safely in my 14ft tiller-tinnie I really have to watch the weather!
