Hi everyone, my name is Mark I am 50yrs old, married 3 children, 2 grandchildren so far.
I have loved fishing since I was a kid, moving to Darwin in the eighties doing a cabinet makers apprenticeship is were I learnt how to make timber lures from my trade school teacher a keen barra fisho. I then also had accident in 88 which I have had 4 back surgeries with artificial discs, so trying to look forward I changed careers I have worked in the tackle industry for more than 15 years.
I have been making rods and lures ever since. I enjoy making my lures which has turned full time, I am markalures
Thanks, looking forward to being on this forum,
I hope I have put this in the right section, I am not that good with computers so it might be awhile before I post pics.
Cheers Mark

Re: WELCOME TO THE FORUM PLEASE INTRODUCE YOURSELF
Hi everyone,
Came across this site searching for info about nail' em lures i found in my tackle box.
I mainly collect storm lures. I have around 600 and counting. Also have storm clothing, cataloges, dealer rings and dealer boards. Pretty much anything storm. Even some
old letters. Going through my tackle box also found around 14 lucinda lures, a few eddy dam busters and the nail' em lures.
Looks like an awesome site and keen to look around.
Cheers gary

Better introduce myself as iv been clogging up the Custom crafted section ...
i live in Wagga & do a fair amount of fishing around the area chasing mainly cod & yella's & also venture up to Windamere once a year.
I only started collecting recently.. i do not collect for future value but collect because after meeting Steve Kovacs & becoming good friends with him
i respect his work & love the history behind his craft.
Great to be on this site .
