First of all if you havent had a welcoming to the site... welcome!!
As for the rod my brother has the 8 foot model of this rod, doesnt seem to bad for the price, and it casts fairly light weights very well with a 2000 daiwa on it.

These are very good rods, been around for long time. Bought my first one about 12 years ago, 1-3 kg. Came with a Calcutta 50.

backbone elite rods have been replaced with beastmaster rods. There still is backbone rods but they are only game rods.
