I’m not totally sure on this one, so thought it good to see evidence
There’s been a lure for sale on eBay listed as an unauthorised copy of a Jaysea lure.
Not sure on how it became a Jaysea lure original. For me it looks a lot like a Keith Baker lure.
This is where I am not sure. Keith Baker told me he sold the Jaysea man, never met him, never knew him, never the less he sold him the right to copy his lures. I was told only the right to copy, not ownership. Keith always had the ownership.
If this is the case, how can the lure in question be a Jaysea copy. Almost all Jaysea lures are copies. If there’s a right to ownership, I would be happy to change my opinion. I only comment on what Keith told me, doesn’t make it correct. Would love to see if he was wrong.

I must point out, I have never questioned the Jaysea man’s right to copy the lures that he paid to do so. It must be good to have a career paid for on the brilliance of someone else. Keith never questioned his right to copy. He was paid for it and was happy with that. Other aspects led him to dislike Mr. Jaysea, but that’s another story and not relevant here.
