WOW boys thats some very nice healty cod there mate...how good is that...the surface lures look great are they you creations chicky,they are working a treat...not to give you spot away mate but is that the New England area....

Some of the pics early in this topic were the New England region , later pics are from a few different areas along the border of vic , nsw about 14 hours drive from N.England . The New England area is better know for the surface feeding Cod , but goes to show if your keen to give surface a crack , Cod in all areas do think much alike and won't refuse a well presented surface meal when they are busy , the down side in the southern state's area is we get unpredictably cold southern winds that blow up which do put fish down . I do make these lures and they attract alot of attention from Cod , they also have a very good hookup rate , we don't find as many feeders down here but when we do it's a good feeling to have a high % hookup rate

Must been exciting when they hit.
Got my first one few years back.
Sat me on my ar:e and frightened the daylight out of me.
He was only around 10 lb but the noise it made!!!
Can't imagine it would be like with a big one.
