When my final contract ended a couple of months ago, access to this marvellous land-based fishing spot was lost.
After pining for a while, I deduced that if the fish were feeding along the Larrakeyah shoreline, then they may be spilling over into the adjacent Cullen Bay area.
So....
picking the best barra tides for the month, I spent an hour or so wading the public swimming beach in the shadow of high-rise apartments and bayside restaurants, making a fool of myself with the long wand.
I am happy to report that a modicum of success was the result.
In fact, at least as good, and in some ways better than any single lunch-hour I ever had at Larrakeyah!

Now to try a few more potential land-based swoffing spots I've had my eye on around the CBD.....
