Latest batch of 'pristine' Newell's

Guys n Gals,
I am looking for some clarification on the current crop of Newell lures that have popped up from a seller in Inverell.
Has anyone got doubts as to the authenticity of these lures. Seems to be a lot of plain white or clear timber which could indicate that these may be well made copies, but the maker wasn't confident enough to try duplicating the newell paint patterns.

Does anyone have any info or thoughts to share??

Has anyone contacted the seller to find out who they are or their connection to Peter?They would of had to know him well to get the quantity of nudes and white undercoated(?) lures they are selling.

Yes, asked the seller the question .... they indicated that the lures came directly from Peter and were especially made for one of his friends ?

Did anyone from here buy one of the previous lot this person was selling.If so, someone would know the name of the seller.Don't mention any names here but a quick PM to one of the Newell guru's here might come up with an answer to the lures pedigree.Be interesting to see if these are the real McCoy.

I made mention of it in "Authentic Kaditcha" post.
Some unfinished lures were found in peters shed.
it may be them (unable to replicate peters paint work)

If that's the case mate they should not be sold as origanal lure's made by Peter but
lures carved by Peter but finished of by some one else

They are original Newells being sold by another well known Tenterfield lure maker who was a very close friend of peters.
Peter gave him a bucket of under coated(white) lures at xmas time.He is doing it a little tough at the moment and is selling all of his Newell lures including some he has owned for 20 plus years.
They are being sold through a friend of his and no it is not me.

Wazza, your a lifesaver .... I'm feeling a lot better now and yes, I have a 'vested interest' having bought a few of them, especially the signed white ones.

Hopefully the white ones may prove to be rather unique over time
