Making your own lure's

I picked up some Cedar and American white Oak the other day, will have to try to make a nice lure with just a clear coat finish hopefully i don't waste the wood Where did you get your Cedar from Adam? I picked up this wood from Otto's hardware store in Stepney, they have some nice wood there but it can be expensive. Need to make a clear coated lure with black Walnut, very Would look nice though.

BLACK walnut sounds nice mate. ive been looking 4 some tazzy black suzann i think thats wot its called .ITS$$$$$$$$ to but its worth it in the end when ya finnish a lure that is a one off/only 1 in the world pretty deep stuff indeed??///////////////////

What's the cedar cost.
I'm lucky as me oldman stores all his in my shed and he rips it to size for me.
He busted me using a plank of Malaysian timber as a ramp for the wheelbarrow once.
Not happy.

Gday Steve, the Deodar Cedar cost me $12.70 for a piece 350mm long 95mm wide 75mm high.

DAN ill have to see me old mate MARZY the crusty old pine sniffer.The wood stock he has is massive alot of evry thing ..e.g 200 year old pure red cedar///////////////////very nice timber..Iam starting to become a cedar sniffer myself///////HAHA hahaHEHE..

Get me some nice wood while your there Bob pleeeeease I decided to go with a red head and will also put some white or something on the sides, here's how it stands at the moment. The blacks lost it's shine nooooo It will come back soon, i hope

get my cedar from the local shop. my mate that works there also put me onto Otto's. but living here in the country can't make it there much. he also put me onto a guy that uses gelaton. might use that when I can get my hands on some

SHMICK Dan LIKE the turned downed BIB nice mate.GELATON is the poo. easy to shape and sand but its $$$$$$$$$$nice to work with same as huon but ill stick with HUNTER RIVER drift wood ...////HAHAHEHE ......
