Kissed on the D!ck by a Fairy...

Post by Marrakai » Wed May 12, 2010 8:43 pm

All this talk of "gold watch" pick-ups on ebay was making me a little antsy, so instead of passing right by the local second-hand shop at lunch-time today I acquiesced to my 'gut instinct' and dropped in.

"Got any lures, mate?"

"Nah, not much around at the moment:- only these ones..."

All in the one bag for a throw-away price.

"Are you a collector? Some of these wooden lures can be worth quite a bit of money, y'know.."

"Yeah, so I've heard. Cheers mate."

No wonder he was giving him away, looks like cheap chinese imitations especially the one on the bottom.

Tell you what, I'll give you $10 and pay for the postage so you aren't embarassed when any lure collectors see it in your cupboard.

Very nice pickups indeed. clapclap . Although you are lucky it wsn't the wet season as you were risking lightning strike with your response about collecting timber lures, don't know how you would have kept from dancing out the door. lol

Looks like a nice pickup. Those second hand stores though are waking up to the price of things though.

I would be careful of fairy kisses though, some aint nothing to brag about and can leave stubble rash. lol

I was going to suggest leaving your camera behind next time you travel to Sydney for the mardi-gras...

Someone might recognize the hall-way carpet in that Elizabeth Bay brothel.

Didn't realize it was supposed to be a self-portrait.....sorry
