Hi Guys,
Just updating my maker database from the last post, Keep those memories coming every little bit of info can help fill in any gaps.
You may also notice that there have been some inclusions suggested by various members.
Spinnerbait and Metal makers have been added as well as some 'ICONIC' makers shown in italics.

NOTE: ANYWHERE THERE IS A BLANK SPACE< IT MEANS I NEED INFO> IF YOU CAN PROVIDE INPUT, PLEASE DO
Any info updates welcome

Dave Killalea was from Townsville.
Huey's from Tassie.
Eric Moller from Cardwell.
Dominic Fry from Cooroy.

Rob worked in Tenterfield but commuted back to Glenn Innes when he was younger (18 months approx)
That is when he met Peter Newell.

Thanks Guys, bowsmilie keep it coming

Laurie, Hydrobugs are being sold by Jeff Ting, I think he makes them for Peter or theres some link there.

Craig, I didn't consider Eric. Same as for Norm Edwards, Laurie White and a number of old time carvers.I was mainly working on makers that have a sales presence in the retail sector, IE: produce enough lures to supply a number of outlets. There are a hell of a lot of small regional makers and maybe one day we might be able to make a list for them.

and to all others, I am working from various sources, old magazines, web articles etc, so some info maybe off centre
Thats why I decided to put the list out there.

THANKS AGAIN GUYS thumbsupsmilie

Seeker lures were made in Bendigo Vic by Ken Hendry.

Are A&B Lures still being made?

A & B lures became JAR Lures - moved to Morningside Queensland - that information as of 2002.

Brad will post some extra information soon.
