Estuary Perch on new lure

Post by MXB » Wed Oct 03, 2012 10:30 am

Hi all . . .

Decided to try my new creation - this was the reject blank that ended up as a skinny yabby after Lofty re shaped my lopsided effort.
We decided on a bib and I finally finished it a few weeks ago. Got a great tight action. Decided on little plastic 'jewel' eyes.
First swim it gets an EP after about 3 minutes

Nice fish about 1.4kg or 3 lb - big munted EP head

@Lofty . . . definitely need to make some more these. And yes it was made to target certain species as we discussed and it worked straight away.
No plastic for me . . . only the bib and you'll be happy to know I twist my own hook hangers now . . . no more prefabs nope

Thanks Rupe . . . you just get the big Bass out your way thumbsupsmilie
