Broughton Island.

Post by Baz » Tue Aug 14, 2012 5:59 pm

Couple of pics of todays catch from Broughton.Beautiful day out there, started of slow but finished with a bang.Total catch was 4 Snapper to 4 kgs and a new PB for me, an 8 Kg King which came from very shallow water , around 6 metres.I was lucky to land him after he had me reefed in the first minute.Managed to coax him out and land him after a 30 minute battle on spinning gear used for chucking soft plastics for Snapper.

The Snapper was caught by my Mate ,Paul. He is a Snapper Guru.

Rupe, it`s a good thing Albert caught him with the Silver, for 2 reasons. Firstly no one would have believed it & secondly, by the look of this, the poor liitle thing probably would have hit the pan too. lol lol

Good to see you are still getting some time to chase a few Baz thumbsupsmilie

Whenever I get a bit of spare time I have to make a decision, work around the house or fishing...............thankfully fishing wins most of the time thumbsupsmilie thumbsupsmilie

And it is lucky Albert caught me with the Silver, I am partial to a feed of them. They're nearly as good as Reddies.
