Slow pitch jigs

Post by zac08 » Mon Dec 10, 2012 12:16 am

Another new idea from the Japanese.

Long fall, slow pitch jigging. The jigs are wide and have a erratic wobble as it free-falls thru the water. Quite a few are available on the market now, but these 2 are beautiful.

I tried casting it and it does really have some beautiful action. I'd probably want to get some 20gms one for a lighter and slightly slower free-fall for freshwater fishing.

Sorry for the late reply... they go heavy as they are meant for deep jigging in the salt. Some other brands like the Evergreen Caprice can go to about 180gms...

Some are smaller like Blue Blue's.. as small as 9gms to about 20gms which would be perfect for shore-casting.
