we are sitting on a 702DHX at the moment, even though he is running 6kg braid, you and i both Know damo how hard the DHX's can pull...

Damo, after fishing a 1/2 dozen seasons of ABT, I can tell you there is NO room for finesse tackle, Get em in, measure em, in the well or back over the side as quickly as possible. Most guys are fishin 8-10kg Braid, and with the current rods, throwing even 1/4oz spinnerbaits is easy peasy.

Sure do HR ,702 will do it well great rods..I could pull a mule from the water with it..6kg for the 702 will be awsome...And the beauty of it is you can still throw 2 gram jigheads when using 3kg.. thumbsupsmilie .....
