Shane, although I am not a real fisherman like some, or a real collector like some, I still consider this lure to be one of your best ever. clapclap thumbsupsmilie

Lures don`t have to be realistic to catch fish, any idiot would know that, but very few are capable of creating the life you have put into this lure.
If style & class didn`t matter, or have a place, we`d all drive Holdens & fly with Qantas. lol

Gus,
thinking about the ridiculous reaction to this lure in some circles was more amusing that it was depriving of sleep. My post may have been after my usual bedtime, but your reply, was posted when you should have been helping patients, not thinking of lures -duh .
A brilliant piece of work just the same. thumbsupsmilie clapclap

Unfortunately, the need to classify is usually done by those who wish to control. This rarely mixes well with those who just wish to create & don`t see the need for petty semantics.

Firstly ......Shane , what an amazing piece of workmanship . Your talent may never be surpassed. clapclap clapclap clapclap

Vincent , for an idiot..... your are right on the money old boy with your classifying interpretation. I also agree with what you say , and would like to add to it if I can.

I think the attempt to classify by the self appointed expert was to put Shanes lures into a classification of "less valuable "& "Less collectable". Well that attempt was as childish as the author who started the thread and should be dismissed as such. If they think that any Newel ever made was in the class of this creation of Shanes , quote from the CASTLE.... tell em their dreaming !!

Back on topic , great lure/imitation/decoy/ art ETC .... I raise my hat to you Shane bowsmilie bowsmilie RDR
