Balsa Poppers - newest creations

Post by MXB » Sun Jan 22, 2012 3:19 pm

Hi all . . .

Here's a couple I knocked out for heavy freshwater work or saltwater;

Chunky style poppers and ballasted for extra weight;

@ MXB

Roger , by the size of the screw eyes I can figure out that these should be about 6 to 7cms in length ,...... are they ?

Very nice lures , ...would you agree , if I said that your paintjobs have improved ??? ?

I know , that your poppers are very functional , I like them thumbsupsmilie !

cheers , Dieter howdy

@diemai . . .

I should of put a scale in these photos . . . no these guys are double that at about 100mm
Used 2'' screw eyes front and back and cut one down for the belly eyelet.

Yes trying to get a better finish and use some simple screens - no sophistication here - orange bag held in place with pegs!!
