I quit using Envirotex , .....now using a marine epoxy mixed with a very fast hardener , ....only 20 mins. processing time , takes 30 to 40 mins. to set to a state , when no more dripping occurs , .........I don't use a rotator , just switching them round from head to tail a few times in my drying rack .

Coats are not quite as thick and even , ........but I simply don't have room for a lure turner .

Thanks for posting , ....greetz , Dieter howdy

yeah i know what you mean i too don't really have too much space for the "rotation wheel" in my apartment. im curious what sort of marine epoxy do you use, whats the brand ?

Many carvers on a German site are purchasing it from this company :

http://www.bootsservice-behnke.de/

I'm using the epoxy resin 300 (Epoxidharz 300) together with the hardener 3018 (Härter 3018) , ...processing time 15mins. to 20mins.(please scroll down page , ...sorry , obviously no English version of the site available) .

But it seems , that I'm the only one on that site using this combination of resin and hardener , .......all the others utilize slower curing mixtures and a rotator !
