I think so , too , ...metal surfaces are tricky for paint adhesion -duh !

Long time ago I've read somewhere to use epoxy clear coat as a primer straight onto the foil , ...would also even out uncovered spots at back and belly , also little wrinkles .

I've tried it back then and will definately continue to stick with it , ...no issues so far thumbsupsmilie !

Been slack . Ive also been concentraiting on the finish rather than the foil . Paint and clear are good with me but now i need to fix the untidy paint and clear on the bibs .

Very good looking ones , especially the dots came out very neat , .....be sure , ....trout won't care about those little flaws , you've mentioned .

thanks mate . been out of sorts lately with doctors n stuff but now im into the good stuff . king billy from the west tasie coast .drift wood is like gold for the lures .

Had a go with the airbrush on some 60mm and 55mm king billy pine minows today with some mixed results .this is one i am happy with . Now if all the lures are this tidy i would be happy.

I havnt named it yet but to be patriotic and the green n gold {yellow} it must be the AUSSIE .
