The next batch turned out great, but due to overcast/rainy conditions we have here at the moment, I dont want to take the pics. I will wait for a bright sunny day for this lot.

There is 10 llittle Wobblers, with eyes glued and waiting to be primed (again, waiting for good weather), so I will update the progress.

Oh how I can relate to that! Two words that I am having trouble with is 'symmetry' and 'identical'. -duh

Slowly getting there though. The 10 Wobblers turned out relatively similar to each other.

'Identical' is not so important, after all, they are hand mades.

'Symmetry' is a little bit more important, if you want the lures to look good and run true. The best way to achieve this, is to mark parallel lines around the edge of the blank, before you start to wittle. Then wittle a little off each side in turn. Never taking too much off in one go before repeating the same operation on the other side. Lots of eyeballing.

Heres the second little batch I painted up...Exploring more with colours, things like two-tones and so on. Keeping some designs simpler, and others a twist here and there.

Fiddled with fading from red to orange down the length of the lure with these two. The orange is noticable, but I might mix it up a little lighter next time so it stands out a bit more.

Nice contrasting black flames! thumbsupsmilie

Yellow artwork on this one.

Blue basecoat with two-tone flamework.

Same flamework, but with a green basecoat

We have labeled this colour scheme.....Snot Rocket!

Spent an hour or so last night cutting out some more templates for the artwork...random patterns and so on, so hopefully these turn out alright. Even did a Moo-Cow pattern just for Mully! nahnah

Leigh,

Nice looking lures and personal touch. I have never seen lures like that before.

Good to see
