Dave .... the Blitz Baga is one of my alltime favourite Aussie timber lures and are deadly on Yella's - have had some awesome sessions on these in Windamere, especially the black and gold colour below. This is one lure where I really reckon the passion was lost when they went to plastic, sorry, personal opinion, but they just don't look or feel the same - weakly printed eyes and the engraved moulding on the belly just looses it for me -duh

Below are all wooden like Dave's above thumbsupsmilie

Guys

I notice in this topic that somebody mentioned I made a smaller version called a Moogerah, this wasn't tha case. I made a mini blitz baga and I also made an earlier basic looking lure called a bass baga. I think you will find the Moogerah was a lure made by Ian Salmon (Fyshee). About the change to plastic, the paint job changed because I don't paint them anymore they have been done by 3 different people over the last 5 years.

I can't believe that there are still some around in their packets.

Cheers
Murray

Murray, No it isn't (see PM) but Gary is a member here under the name Sweetwater

Re the Moogerah Special..
This is a pic Gary put up on his site and called the lure on the far right as the Moogerah Special. It has a smaller bib presumably to run shallower up the back of Moogerah Dam.
