John Roe

Post by Craig » Wed Oct 29, 2008 3:29 pm

John Roe lures, I got these off John in 1998-99. They were the last ones he had left.
The larger one is the only cod lure he made, all the rest were targeted at the Bass fishing which was just starting to boom in SEQ in the early 90's.
But John's true love was Saratoga on fly, he started Tropical Trout Guided Tours bassed at Borumba in the late eighties.
John is now back in Tassie chaseing Trout

It's been used, I think I hooked up a Bass in a loal creek. It got off.
They are dipped it a clear laquer just like BOB's.
It's 98mm long and 121mm with the bib.
Writen along the back is "Troll Hand Crafted Lures".
