Jabiru Lures Brolgas

Post by Schultzy » Sat Dec 27, 2008 6:45 pm

A selection of my timber Brolgas from Jabiru Lures when they were still handmade in Ipswich.

The top three on the left are early prototypes.

The lower two on the left are the Ultra-Deep versions.

Like the look of these, are these the same model as the SMAK brolgas, just the smak's are plastic? That bright green mint colored one is a standout!

Yes, the same lure is now made under the Smak label. Originally designed and made in Ipswich, hand carved from timber by Steve Timperley.

The rights to make them were purchased by Smak who have them moulded.
