Luvias

Post by DanD » Tue Sep 16, 2008 8:48 pm

G'day all, I was wondering if anyone had laid their hands on the new Daiwa Luvias rods yet? and what you thought of them?

I checked out the 2 piece 1-3Kg and the 1 piece 2-4Kg the other day. Seemed Ok.....nice and light.......very........silver.
The "ratchet" reel seat is different, hadn't seen one of them before.

Retail is about $350ish I think......I just cant seem to get into "non cork" grips though.......

Oh well, still like checkin out new stuff!!

I have two of the mid spins and my good mate Tim has a mid and a lite spin, i have used his lite spin a few times and personally rate them for the $$$$$ they are under $200 and have fuji silicones YSG low mount guides and cork fore and rear grips + cork fighting butt with ally winding checks etc etc...Worth a feel against the zero's and luvias i know what i'd walk out with thumbsupsmilie
