Hi guys just want to show you all the first grub lure I am making, it now has a bib wich I borrowed from my boys leggo set lol I did ask him first thumbsupsmilie.
And next one will be a through wire set up (and the hooks for this are just paced there for picture I sent to me mate in QLD who lure is for).
let me know what you think thumbsupsmilie

Thanks Wal I knocked the design of a realy old home made lure that the old guy said worked a treat on trout
But I had try the knife out on something and yes its a nicely home made knife from USA Ebay Item number: 370615973801 if you want one he sells the strops as well thumbsupsmilie

Can any one identify the maker of the grub and the red top water one ??? - I think who ever made the bottom grub got some skills lol

@ Finnsurance

Not much to see on your pics , mate , ........I downscale mine to 650 X 490(approx.) pixels from original camera size 2400 X 1900(or something)when importing them from my picture program into my computer files after uploading from the camera .

This size works for all sites , that I'm frequently on .

If you'd get deeper into lure carving , you should try to obtain some clear polycarbonate sheet (Brand names "Lexan" or "Makrolon" , etc.) , ...much better suited than Lego parts lol , as it's not that easy , even almost impossible to break .

Other types of clear plastics like Plexiglass or even CD covers are subject to easy breakage , when ripping your lure off snags or casting against rocks or bridgeposts and stuff .

But as far , as I can see, your grub looks wery well thumbsupsmilie !

I know I thought that about when I went to check The photo to it would not enlarge for me (not much to see)
I took the photo with older Iphone so I will try to get a beter shot of them with me other camera
I know bloody L platers lol thumbsupsmilie

........can't tell about iPhone pictures , as from a technically point of view I'm from behind the woods , ....I don't even own one , ....and my mob was made during the times of the Roman Empire lol !

I took a pic with my wifes phone maybe you can have a better look a the lures now -duh I will not put anymore on till i work out shrinking photos crazysmilie

at least someone may know who the grubs original maker is ???

I was able to get in touch with Carl From Hues Lures.

He Said ".yep thats one of my old lures.First batch......25 years ago" droolsmilie

So thanks for letting me know Guys and I will never carve one like this again. smckin

But he said I am able to carve me own grubs by hand so I will now annoy my wood guy for some grubs thumbsupsmilie
