Hi Stephen

whoppers mate. clapclap clapclap clapclap clapclap clapclap

what river is that? water looked great in the pics.

that second lure looked well battered and bruised.

what do you reckon worked better---that black /white color seems to be more consistent fish catcher.

The fish came from the Murrumbidgee near Narrandera. The guy in the pic has been using Humpbacks for years and caught way too many big cod on them bowsmilie . That trip a mate was using the white one and said it wasn't working so Dirk picked it up, tied it on and within half an hour had that impressive 125cm fish on nahnah -duh crazysmilie

Green is a favourite for us generally and the smaller fish (measured 99cm) was caught on that exact lure two months before on the same snag, same retrieve and same angle of approach. Both fish had the unfortunate scars of part lips missing from encounters with set lines (we'd guessed) but otherwise seemed super healthy and active.

Time was in late May, quite a few years ago now.

Hope that helps fill the info in.

fantastic trip.

good lures these Humpbacks.

Tony Quinn had a similar size fish on during one of his lure testing trip in the beginning on the Murray.

I will see if I can get a copy of that pic.

Here are some Humpbacks a mate got painted up. As far as I am aware only three sets exist (maybe 4 if Tony kept one as he liked the colours).

Did I say these lures rock?

I have not seen them before. The 110 have a very similar profile as the Legend Yarrum. I would expect they work very well. Nice paint jobs and finish too.
