Amen to that!

I well-remember the Cocktail spoons from my youth, but didn't remember that they were made by Pegron.
Now going to have to search all the bottom-drawers around here to see if I still have one!

Also interested on what is stamped on the back of the 'Wobbler' if it can be easily seen....?

Thanks Laurie.

I don't suppose anybody is still interested in this thread, however !!

I have, and still fish with tiger pegrons and my one remaining mountain minnow. We are currently spinning in a NZ lake north of here renowned for its big
trout. We are regularly hooking and occaisionally landing rainbows and browns up to 10 lb. The attrittion rate on lures is fairly high, espescially as I usualy use 6lb line. I would really love to get my hands on some original mountain minnows if anyone can help ?
ps I have some amazing video of a 7.5 lb rainbow trying to jump into the canoe,on this lake, whilst I was trying to land it.

I'll try to reduce the size of the file and post it tomorrow.
I'm not really a lure collector just a user but there are some old lures like the pegrons and Deception lures that just work better than the new ones.

Hugy:
Can't get that link to work.
Tried searching for "FWmBzSRf_VI" in Youtube but search results were a big zero.
Can you post the link again? Always interested in such things...!

BTW not too many lure-collectors here are going to be happy donating vintage Pegrons to the lake-floor........ Image

Thanks Hutto, I just checked it and it works. I loaded it thru my son's account.
Marrakai I thought someone might have some old ones that weren't worth collecting. I've got a couple of tackle boxes full of old trout and yellowbelly type lures that I'll never use. I should get them out and see whats there. Its a pity I'm in NZ now or you guys could have a browse thru...there all from the 70s mostly.
I'll get them out and maybe get some photos. There might be some there of use to you guys'
I'm trying to find some Paravan Salamandas as well. They were/are made in Norway I think.
