Thought I would start the tica reels subject by posting my newest reel. The Taurus TP3000SH

-14 ball bearings
-gear ratio 6.3
it came with a spare 4000 size spool. it is a tad heavy but you get used to it. I have not had a chance to use it much yet but it cast great and is very smooth reel and very sexy LOL. I have another tica reel and the thing i love about them is there power handles.
If any one else has a Taurus I would love to hear about them.

shud give ya a bit more power for ya monster flatties and mullies... the smoke fireline looks nice on it to.

bit strange though that the 3000 comes with a 4000 size spool as a spare...

yer its a bit strange but it was meant to come with it. But it could come in handy one day!

My brother has a Graphite extrem, i might have to test it out....
