When you want something different from your Invader.....

Post by fishaholiclures » Tue Feb 09, 2010 6:50 pm

Heres a Invader that I bought, thinking it was a shallow version, but obviously it has been refitted with a black plastic bib after a nasty accident (I don't think anyone would rip a bib out to shove something else in) The tow wire has been re-bent to shape and epoxied onto the bib nose.

First up Brad that's an ugly Plough. lol but i can also relate to barstardising these little timber beauties.About twelve years or more back when i needed a bit more depth from 60mm timber Ploughs which were one of my favourite Yella lures at that time i experimented with different bib sizes and they worked a treat.Note the three different bib sizes as well as the standard one on the right in "Boothy colour"

Mike, at least this bloke is a plastic one, I would shudder to think of anyone bastardising a timber one like this one has been.
I might be tempted to give it a swim alongside a normal one to see what difference the bib shape makes ???
