JARVIS WALKER THE INTERMEDIATES

Post by ocd1688 » Mon Oct 16, 2017 5:56 pm

Between the first series of split cane rods to the much more prolific stage when the production of the modern canes exploded, there were some JW's with distinct features that place them in the intermediates.

Personally I find these rods to be more interesting, with the appearance of decals and scripts.

The following are some samples and they are pretty rare in deed. They belong to a mate who kindly let me took a few pics.

Here we have a rod that has the stamped WALKERS covered by peeling decal, a round red decal followed by the cane logo. This rod again provides confirmation that the stamped samples are true JW's

I am sure there are other samples.

But they are very rare indeed, especially in good condition.

Will get to the modern, well comparatively modern, versions.
Hopefully soon.
