Very Nice reel Vince, Shimano or not. Seeing one in that condition does make me a little Jealous. I still see know reason not to fish it, there pretty good reels. Yours is in spectacular condition, It has obviously been well care for, and a true classic of its era. You can still fish it and keep it in that condition is your careful.

I really enjoy fishing mine, although they were purchased in more worn condition than yours.

In my opinion, yours with that factory rosewood handle, is one of the nicest looking reels ever made. Its been on my want list pretty much forever, I just never won an auction for one yet. Maybe you have have been my competition. I tend to focus on details, and to me its amazing how much that rosewood handle effects the overall aesthetics of these reels. For me It turns a average overall nice looking reel, into one of the best looking reels ever produced.
