At one point the Manns stretch 5+ series came in an Australian series
There was a colour called Australian Herring - sort of bronze silver gold side with dark glittery brown bars coming down the side and red eyes
that was some lure
caught my first whiting on a lure on that one
wish they still did it

@ Fizza

Hahaha , if your boss would know........! lol lol lol

Seen these "Pogo Shads" before in a British catalog , but never over here in Germany , but it was gone from there in the next years issue , if my memory serves me right .

Are they entirely discontinued nowadays ?

Made a knock-off those days after that catalog picture , because I was curious about the action of sucha "paddle tail" lure .......now , that you are displaying a proper side view in here , I see that I was quite a bit wrong about the shape lol lol lol !

Thanks for posting them thumbsupsmilie thumbsupsmilie !

Anyway , though it floats up almost vertically nose down , it still wiggles nicely just below the surface , but I've never caught on it .

Dieter, the Pogo Shad would cause the most vibration of any of this style of lure. The tail basically doubles the lures action.

Your homemade lure is a take-off from the Pogo Stick by the looks, nice job too mate thumbsupsmilie thumbsupsmilie

Let me know if there's any other lures you want to see & if I have them I'll put up pics, got junk everywhere mate crazysmilie -duh crazysmilie

@ fizza

Thanks a lot about your offer , gladly appreciated clapclap clapclap thumbsupsmilie !

Might get back to it one day , but presently I'm very busy with some other homemades projects ,......so many ideas , so little time -duh -duh lol lol !

Only had a side/front view of that lure , so I had to guess about a lot of its dimensions ,......and pictures don't show the weight and buoyancy , anyway !

Next time i'm in the shed I'll take some pics from all sides and put them up. It'll make it easier for you to copy if you still want. The tail is much wider than the actual body. thumbsupsmilie
