Basswood - Colour Range

Post by Lure-Nut » Tue Oct 05, 2010 6:45 am

Have been trying for a while to complete the large Deception Basswood colour range and think I may be getting close - difficulty is that I found more colours than on the original colour chart, so I'm really not sure where it will end lol lol

There are 21 colours here .... I think I've tracked down a 22nd but it's not at hand and I haven't seen it yet -duh

If there is anyone out there with a colour I may be missing, can you please post a pic so I can keep this little adventure going yay

Yeh Steve ... the first set of 5 timbers Paul released as an 'Australiana' set with each carved out of a different timber for effect - they are definately very special thumbsupsmilie

Just for interest the 5 timbers that Paul used in the Australiana Basswood set are:

- White Beech
- Silky Oak
- Huon Pine
- Red Cedar
- Banksia

Just don't ask me which one is what lol lol crazysmilie

Brad ... mate, thanks - yep I'd have got it wrong -duh

Gotta say they are all impressive, but there is something about the mottled one on the bottom that is very appealing thumbsupsmilie
