Currumbin tackle shop Deceptions

Post by jimmy34 » Sun Jul 25, 2010 9:16 pm

Hi All I am in Hobart but was on holiday up in Qld last week staying at Currumbin after a week at Agnes Waters/1770 fishing the outer reef. Browsing the local tackle shop I found some Deception lures in the sale bin, there were only 6 or 8 of them (old stock on sale) well I have no idea what they were worth but the fella in the shop said I could take them for 10 bucks each. I had just blew all my $$ on boat fuel and holiday expenses so I left them there. Just giving you the heads up - if you are in the area it may be worth swinging by that shop to see if they are any good. From memory there was a pink and black shrimp, a basswood, a pademelon and a few others. They were smalling lures - bream/flathead size 5-7 cm approx. The tackle shop was next to a bridge that goes over Currumbin Creek, and they sell kayaks etc. Hope this is helpful to some deception collectors. Cheers, James.

Mate .... thanks for the tip, all depends on whether they are original Kneller's or Tacspo - then again, for $10 that's a top fishing lure whether it's Kneller or not thumbsupsmilie thumbsupsmilie
