The Chopbone shape came about as scrap timber ,(left over after lure blanks had been cut from timber), was utilized to make further lures.

I think the nutty Wood Whittler is trying to throw me off the food scent but, I know there’s a chop in there somewhere.

Here is the scenario, the illustrious lure carver was on overnight flight to Bangkok, he was sitting in his seat staring all consumed in deep thought staring blankly out the window, when a scantly dressed hostess caught his attention, she was walking up the isle like a supermodel on a catwalk when he noticed those two big gorgeous ………………. chopsticks, sticking out of a Sushi roll, and that my friends was the instant the Chop-Bone was conceived.

On second thought maybe it was a half-eaten KFC chicken drum stick???

I can see, I might need backup here, this calls for drastic measures. I and going to call the Wally himself, there is nothing that he can’t work out over a bowl of pretzels and a jam jar half full of that sweet black nectar… watch this space the mystery will be revealed!

So i was thinking maybe one of those old oil cans but, don't think that has much to do with lures so maybe an airbrush is the shape im looking for ???

Hi guys

The bloke from the state of better water, better light, just about better in everything, knows the answer.
But I have disqualified him lol lol lol .

In the process I have done the same to myself.

Which I think it is only fair thumbsupsmilie

You are both wrong Jas and Baz.

A big hint.

It is flat, and I mean Flat.

Another hint in 15 minutes.
