THE ART OF ROBERT MICHAEL GADEN the Biggoon

Post by ocd1688 » Sat Jan 03, 2015 9:47 pm

The Biggon, would you believe is the name of a water rat. There is a whole story to the naming of this lure.

What a name for a lure and what a lure thumbsupsmilie

I think over the years it has overtaken the Poltergeist as my favorite RMG model. The shape and form just flow along with magnificient curves and smooth lines.

I think I will take the liberty of starting on the modern masterpieces before the oldies, mainly because I was distracted and haven't had the oldies organised. lol lol lol

This one is the most spectacular Biggoon ever, one of 4 only. No variations! It has become known as the pearl Biggoon, apparently.

I have taken the pics with my little camera which does no justice at all to the beauty of this sample. One would have to see it under natural light to appreciate the amazing colours.

The next lure is just a little bit, a tiny little bit less spectacular than the pearl Biggoon.

It is the giant Biggoon

There are 3 other sizes to go with the Giant in the same colour pattern which would have added to the appeal.

Baz, it would appear you have made the same mistake I made some time back.

I have a nice little collection of Goodoo Biggoons & when Mully was selling off some of his lures, I approached him to purchase his Cow Biggoon from the anniversary top up lures. Thinking it was a Goodoo Biggoon, I offered a very reasonable price, as you would to get a 1 off to add to your set lol The deal was done & some time later, I went to put it with the other Goodoo`s & realised I was a total idiot. -duh -duh

This is the difference, the Goodoo is the bigger one.

Speaking of the Christmas Biggoon here it is with more pics

One of 15 only.
This is number 3.
So naturally there is a number 1. And you won't see another number 1 for rather obvious reasons.
