I also have one of the ply Polti's Albert. Very nice lure that I wouldn't like to carve. But as usual, Rob has done a ripper job with them. I've also got another special one from a trip to Glenbawn Dam back in 2009. When time permits I'll whack a few photo's up.

There are some more timber Polties to come. And they are special thumbsupsmilie

But thought I will have a go at the moulded, because I think I need help to get the sequences right.
This is in regard to pre-Halco and Halco made samples.
But as I have said before there is a 99.90% chance that I would be wrong lol

Thank you Baz.
You have eased my mind thumbsupsmilie

I am not exactly sure about the genesis of these lures but vaguely remember there is something about bits of paper to go with each lure.

Can you tell us the story when you have time ???
And please don't go MIA for too long.
We need you here lol lol lol lol

I'll dig out the lure and paper tomorrow Albert. Some of the original names on my paper will need to be changed as I know 1 or 2 have changed hands from the original 8.

Th green one has gill cover and a plain bib.

The gold lure also has a gill cover and plain bib which I think is the prototype sent to Halco.
There must have been a change in the design as the Halco ones retain the gill but the bibs has a locking device built in.

I feel I might have this completely balls up, which is entirely possible. lol lol lol

Be that as it might, the Polty remains one of the most successful RMG models.

Baz, your paper work may have more info than mine. I`m always left in the dark lol

I`ll post this one up as a start, but it would be good to see #5. It`s also good to see that Fizz is at the bottom of the list where he should be lol He has probably fished his & lost it by now lol
