The rod would have been made by me or possibly Casey. If it was really trick it was probly Casey and if it was just trick maybe me lol. I remember making a few special ultra lights that he was donating as prizes somewhere, with I think fish wraps on them. I made alot of the bigger beach rods for him too.

The rods had extra long handle detachable fuji butts and we fitted Daiwa PMA baitcast reels two them. Graeme got them made and I got it off him...Nev

Most likely mine then. I did a few like that, wouldnt do it now :-). I think I still have one in the shed. Good old pma 35's do you still have them. Im pretty sure only reel of its size to have a drag ratchet, great for trolling the dams.

This is a blast from the past, a walk down memory lane. Casey Van den over, Phil and Mara Ellerton - faces come to mind straight away as if it was yesterday.
I remember Graeme bringing a large boat called Oarsome to Wyangala probably about '89. He burnt out a clutch and a set of brakes towing the boat over the mountains.

These are my B&M's. Only the three in the middle have the brass chassis but most are from the eighties and very early nineties.

Nev,

This photo may show it better. I don't know what the colour combo is called but the colour was a good trout catcher on its day
