Hi warren,
Great to see that lure with a bit of Russell Kenny's paint so well displayed ! it is really gratifying to see an old lure so well displayed. Bill's Bugs are fabulous lures.

Hi Greenie,
I gave it a bit of a careful scrape with a knife and got all of it off apart from a little on the bib and managed to get it all off the scorpion.

Nor me...Bill is a pure gentleman!

I can recall fishing a social based event and when it came time to the raffle draw, Bills nature shined through. A ticket was drawn, lets just say A34. Bill had A33 and A35, but did want to claim the prize, because he could not find the actual winning ticket. It took the entire field of competitors to convince Bill to claim the prize. Just one instance of this mans nature. Makes great lures too!

Excuse the ignorance, but what is the purple one? It is fantastic droolsmilie

I've never seen that one myself but love the look of it.

Great lures from Bill and I agree with others, always a gentleman to deal with thumbsupsmilie .

It is a proto type Bill made for Bass, Only made three and he lost the other two to snags.
Billy gave me that one out of his tackle box one weekend we were fishing at Glen Lyon.

Guys,
Still have a very battered wooden 4" minnow that's caught its share of Darwin harbour barra. Also his fizzers work great over shallow rock-bars.
Found a few of the original wooden ones recently at our local CC, they're now all made in plastic, I think.
Regards, Tony (Wulagi, NT).
