Lurenut ,

Great info & starting point for the Frogman.

Yes..... the website was hard to navigate because of my lack of ability to read Japanese. But the photos of the lures explain them selves. There certainly are some nice lures.

Will make a point of visiting their shop if ever in Japan.

Rob, well worth the visit thumbsupsmilie

Shame is that it amplifies the difference between the Japanese and Aussie Tackle Shops and the destruction that the internet and the BCF's have done to our local Tacklo's -duh

Rob ,
Totally agree that the internet has made it difficult for smaller tackle shops , high dollar and lack of taxes on imports of smaller dollar amounts. The parallel imports by some tackle groups and rebranding of products under their names is also making it difficult for manufacturers and wholesalers in this country. The un-written golden rule of yesteryear was that manufacturers & wholesalers would not also be "Retailers". Some of the buying groups have ignored this in recent times , but they are the first to expect our support and product when the dollar falls below .80 cents. What a wonderful world they expect to operate in.
As for B#F , it is "Alleged"....( I don't need a legal battle ) ...the end is NIGH !! Strong suggestion of this by the leaders of the tackle industry at this years trade show. It is a shame for the employee's , and share holders if this eventuates. But the smaller tackle shops that have survived through these hard times , will end up being the winners .

Strangely enough ...... the biggest independent shop in Australia is going ahead leaps & bounds through all of this. What a great example of good management , lower mark-up , higher turn over , and a vision that the owner had to take his tackle Australia wide. This all done years before the internet gave us access to buying from afar. Love them or hate them........FTA or Mo-tackle have the most enviable sales of all the independents. Well done to them !!
