Hi guys, went out for a fish with a mate today got away late due to wind, anyway what started out as a bream on blade trip ended being a red hot bass bite I got some Bream and a flattie on my homemade blades, but when Mick got his third bass on a red Koolabung Xray prawn I changed and we landed 22 bass all in good nick, all released quickly we came home pretty happy, heres some pics

Keen to get into using the blades more.... probably give them a thrashing over the coming Callop season.... Some really nice fish there - any clues to techniques?! ???

Hi Mate,Ive been using blades full on the last 18 months and have used all sizes and styles of blades, there are quite a few articles from different guys on them in mags but I would say like most lure techniques mix it up till you get a few fish, one retrieve which is really good on bream is sink it to the bottom then hop it with long pauses a lot of time the fish will take em while sitting still ??? dont ask me why, cheers
