hit the Bega RIver for a 'I NEED TO RELAXE' session for a few gentlemanly hours today, itchihng to give the TT's a run, found a heap of schooling fish and 3rd cast baddaBANG...called it for a perch till it went nuts then had no idea...
up she came
A luderick !!! havent nailed a blackfish on a lure for yonks so i as quite happy...few small perch for the rest of the session but nothing to brag about...

OOhh exotic! Not many of those pop up on the old hard lure, they love a softy.

Nice fish HR, bet you didnt expect that too pop up. I have caught a few different species on vibes now as well, its weird what takes them.

Interesting catch mate, good stuff...
from what i have heard about them i wouldnt have expected them to take a vibe....
naa mate they are normallytree huggin vegies ! we do get them on peeled prawns in summer as they swap the greens diet for a feed of fresh crustacia when hey run in summer...but yeah i was plesantly surprised, they pit up a good fight too...
