Blades for Callop

Post by Mr_Willy » Tue Mar 10, 2009 12:31 pm

I have been buying the odd blade on the bay to chuck around at Callop and whatever else I get a chance to try them on.

The ones I have bought are - Jackall bros sasuke blade Jr - are these any good to try out the Yellas!?

Am looking at a trip in a couple of weeks, so pretty keen to get a few blades to try, but not sure which ones to buy.

Cheers!
Nathan

Although not as experienced at chasing callop as most of the people here, i would say judging by there specs they should do the trick, from memory i saw them being used in a mag article somewhere on callop also.

Failing that i know for a fact they catch bream ;)

I would try the Ecogear blades, even try the Strikpro Cyber vibes they aren't very big but im sure thew would work and they are cheap. Bushy's Devil fish vibes are great as well. Theres plenty out there to try, i really only use them for Bream and Mulloway so i can't say whats good for Callop but im sure they would work.

Looks like I will just be grabbing a few different types and trying them out....

I have been reading the last couple of issues of FWF and WildCoast and the articles in there and I reckon they will smash the Callop, so time will tell!!!
