I have a few of these ,dont know about using them on PNG bass ,as they are heavy and sink like a stone so have to be retrieved with speed ,

I have caught tailor on them ,used them off the rocks and they smash in to a million pieces,

end up with a steel shank with a bit of resin hanging of it ,that has been my experience with them any way
