bass fishing

Post by Zim man » Tue Jan 13, 2009 7:22 am

hi all
i went down to my local lake last week. first day after 20 minutes, i got a 46cm bass on a spinnerbait then not a touch for the next hour. following day i thought i would try a chatterbait. after twenty minutes i got a 41 cm bass then nothing for the next hour. this dam seems to have an allocation system working with me.

both times i tried in the evening. a third visit at 5am would yield massive results i thought. after twenty minutes, my father in law catches a yellowbelly. then we both spend the next hour practising our casting. got pretty good at it too. clapclap but no fish. this dam seems to know when i am coming.

here is the first bass caught on the spinnerbait

i there is quite a few weedbeds there, so i am thinking the next trip will be with some texas rigged soft plastics and i will slowly work the depths.

thanks for reading

thumbsupsmilie Nice stuff Zim man
Change your lure and release him away from where you catch them. A spot the doesn't produce fish.

i just relocated myself up to here on account of the missus job and stuff.
