Re: Done my 5 years for

Great to hear the authorities are cracking down on idiots flouting the law in the Mary. Too many fools targeting the fish when they know full well that it is illegal. It really needs a few of them to lose their vehicles and gear to belt the message home.

Re: Old Aeroplane Murray Cod spinners

There was a time when you'd be hard pressed to find a tree in Mulwala that didn't have a roofing nail embedded in it for the tying of Green Cord too!

Aeroplane Spinner

Pam recently had a trip to her home town of Rutherglen. She found this in her brother's shed. It's an Aeroplane Spinner bought by her father before he passed away and never used. Re: Scorpion

Apparently, Peter had been using the lure and was in the process of reprinting it when he passed away. It was in his mate's paint booth. It was auctioned at the Lure Expo with the proceeds going to Kathy.

Re: LIK LIK

I just spoke to Harro and he told me the story. The original big Scorpions were a bit big for PNG, so Harro asked Peter to make some smaller ones. Peter called them the Lik Lik.

Re: LIK LIK

Lik Lik is Pidgin English for Little Bit or Small. They may have been for Harro, fluent in Pidgin, to fish in PNG

(Edit) ignore that. I just read the article above. Doh!

I finally got to use it on a Bass. I got a couple of Flathead on it up to now. It feels as good as it looks.
