Re: My Powell Lure's

Hi Dave,

Good to see you didn't get blown away at the show. Also interesting that you and I picked very similar lures from Travers collectible stash. I ended up with 2 scorpions a mini Kad and a digger.

Could be more popular than sliced bread! Brilliant ideas, brilliant craftsmanship. Only concerned that some bugger will steal your idea and make a small fortune from it. clapclap

Re: Surface Paddler

Looks similar to the Secret Creek lure, just a little squarer across the shoulders etc.

Nice lure mate, I can only make a mess with my hands and am not brave enough (yet) to have a go at making lures of my own. Great effort!

Re: What are these please

I've seen many, many different shapes of these lures through Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Singapore. Some very interesting ones are very lifelike repr...

Re: What are these please

I'm fairly confident that these lures are from South East Asia and are designed to target a local species called Snakehead (AKA Toman). They throw these lures hard up against cover then wind them back to the boat buzz bait style. Unlike our local fish the snakehead will not strike the lure if the an...

Re: Surface Paddler

Tony Secret Creek make a surface lure similar to a Jitterbug and it is called a Kerr Boom Model Number SCD-06 and should be 55mm long.

Dean they are all sensational. I have a real soft spot for the red & black or the purple ones.

How good are they! Lofty makes bloody brilliant lures, I love them a lot. I'd feel very lucky to own these ones.

Re: Another one that needs a name

Dave I posted them in the same section here is the link http://www.lureandmore.com/viewtopic.php?f=190&t=4379 , we suspect they are more lures from Macka.
